
Marissa has over 10 years of experience across a variety of marketing strategies, including influencer marketing, brand marketing, experiential marketing, and events.
She started her career in San Francisco where she dedicated 5 years to a global beauty Brand, helping grow their brand awareness in the US via strategic brand partnerships and immersive destination trips and events. In this role, she led the planning for activations including one of LA’s first beauty brand pop-ups, an Influencer takeover of Richard Branson’s Necker Island, and an annual social contest turned IRL event where selected micro-influencers competed for the chance to win a brand contract and a grand prize of $50,000.
She then led the North America Athlete and Influencer team for a global activewear Brand. In this role, she juggled a high cadence of product launches, sales, activations, and events driving above market growth in sales and reach. Her knack for connection and strong interpersonal skills supported her success in this highly collaborative role, including talent relations, internal cross-functional partnership and management of a large team.
Marissa is motivated by creating with others. She loves to watch puzzle pieces land in place to create something impactful: whether a large consumer event, an intimate influencer trip, a product launch campaign, or even the way that she’s chosen to manage her teams. Marissa loves to nurture people’s genuine strengths and valuable contributions to craft the most meaningful outcome.
